Terms & Conditions
This includes all Mantrailing, Tracking/Trailing, General Training, Scent Detection and 121 sessions, workshops and assessments.
Mantrailing, Tracking/Trailing, General Training, Scent Detection and 121 can be/is held outdoors, this means that you must come with the equipment to keep yourself and your dog/s safe in all weather conditions.
KMK9 does not accept any responsibility for any injuries, damages or loss of property for you or your dog/s while training with us. Should anyone fall, trip or suffer an injury while training with us it MUST be reported at the time of the accident. This will be recorded in our accident book.

Fees:
Fees for all of the classes, training sessions, workshops or assessments should be paid at the time of booking. Places are only secure with payment (and if a new client the registration form is filled in).
Booking is confirmed at the time of payment and payment is non-refundable outside the 14-day statutory cancellation period.
If your booking is made within 14 days of the start of the training sessions, workshops or assessment then you agree to waive your right to rely upon the 14-day statutory cooling off and cancellation period.

Cancellations:
Cancellations for classes, 121s, training sessions, workshops or assessments that have been paid for require at least 72 hours' notice. Training sessions, workshops or assessment fees will not be refunded if cancellation occurs within 72 hours notice of the training sessions, workshops or assessments starting.
We are unable to refund classes, 121s, training sessions, workshops or assessments fees once the classes, 121s, training sessions, workshops or assessments have commenced and partial refunds for missed sessions are not given.
No refunds are given for non-attendance to classes, 121s, training sessions, workshops or assessments.

If you need to cancel your training sessions, workshops or assessments please inform KMK9, providing 72 hours' notice*.
Cancelled classes, 121's, sessions, workshops or assessments inside this notice period will not be refunded. If you would like to rearrange a session rather than cancel the following applies

2 weeks+: full credit, simply swap the date of your session (you will be issued with a code for rebooking).
-
Less than 2 weeks’ notice: no credit on original booking and 50% discount on your re-arranged booking.
-
Less than 72 hours notice: no refund and no discount on rearranged bookings.
In case the participant or participants’ dog becomes ill so that they cannot take part in the classes, 121s, training sessions, workshops or assessments, you may have to show a doctor’s or licensed veterinarian note stating such. You will then be given credit, you will be issued a code for rebooking where possible.​

*Please note that 'specials' (for example Christmas special) or skill-up sessions/workshops (including advanced/full-day workshops, or CPD workshops) are NON-REFUNDABLE unless we can fill your place regardless of the notice given.

Collaboration workshops:
Collaboration workshop (when we work with guest trainers such as Big Borders Mantrailer) are NON-REFUNDABLE unless we can fill your place regardless of the notice given, your refund if we fill your place will be minus a £15 admin fee. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE regardless if we can fill your place or not.

Hosted workshops:
Hosted workshops (when we host guest trainers) are NON-REFUNDABLE unless we can fill your place regardless of the notice given, your refund if we fill your place will be minus a £15 admin fee.
Payment plans: When paying via a payment plan your place is confirmed on the final payment, if you cancel the payment plan prior to the full balance being received your place is no longer confirmed and you are not entitled to a refund of any part payments already made.

Insurance:
We strongly advise you to have your dog insurance with 3rd party liability (Third party liability from Dogs Trust is recommended).

KMK9 is fully insured with Cliverton insurance.
​
Video sharing:
When videos are shared either in the Facebook groups or YouTube, these are NOT to be shared on any public platforms. These are shared in a raw format so you can see your trail and hear any comments we make on the trail and are not for anyone else to hear/see. If you wish to share the video you must ask permission and we will send you a muted version.

KMK9 Membership:
Membership is open by application only, we reserve the right to refuse any membership application.
Payment is due in advance for the membership and will be automatically taken each month until you cancel.
No partial refund is available if you cancel mid-month, nor are the sessions transferable.
Members are not allowed to share any information, videos or files from the members ONLY group with anyone who is not a current member. If found to be doing this, your membership will be cancelled immediately and no partial refund is available.

Monthly challenges are taken on at your own risk and KMK9 takes no responsibility if you do not set up a suitable training area.
​
KMK9 reserve the right to cancel any membership at any point with just cause.
​
Weather/illness:
Where training sessions, workshops or assessments are cancelled due to bad weather (including too hot or cold) or illness, the training sessions, workshops or assessments will be rescheduled.
Notification of cancellation of a class will be made by text and/or email with as much prior notice as possible.
Please check your mobile/emails for texts/emails prior to leaving for training sessions, workshops or assessments particularly in bad weather.

Registration Forms:
If you are a new client a Registration Form (or as requested by KMK9 must be filled out within 48 hours of an order to confirm your place. I will email you as a reminder within 24 hours (where possible) and a text message will be sent before the 48 hours. If no registration form is filled out in this time frame your place is no longer secure and the order will be cancelled.

AGGRESSION & BITE HISTORY:
Please note that we DO NOT work with dogs that are aggressive towards people, this includes if your dog barks, lunges or has bitten (even nipped) someone. We ask this question on our registration form and if you do not tell us we reserve the right to stop any session, workshop or assessment if you have failed to tell us and you will not be initiated to a refund.

Venue/s:
On rare occasions, venues may need to be changed, as much notice will be provided by KMK9 if this is the case. ​
​
Code/s for rebooking:
When issued with a code for rebooking a session you must use it within three months from the date of issue. Codes will expire after three months from the issue date.
​
Vaccinations:
We ask that all dog's attending our classes, training sessions, workshops, assessments & 121s are fully vaccinated however we don't ask for proof of this, if your dog isn't vaccinated you are attending our training sessions, workshops, assessments & 121s at your own risk and we take no responsibility for any ill-health due to this.
Non-competition clause:
Any individual participating in introduction courses, seminars, workshops, instructor courses, training or any other services that are offered by any of the KMK9, agrees not to conduct/hold/offer such or similar, to the general public or another business or third parties within the United Kingdom. This includes Tracking/Trailing, Mantrailing, General training and Scent Detection introduction courses, Mantrailing, Tracking/Trailing, Mantrailing, General training and Scent Detection seminars, Mantrailing, Tracking/Trailing, Mantrailing, General training and Scent Detection workshops, Mantrailing and Scent Detection training within two consecutive years after the event and ONLY with the written consent of the KMK9 owner can this agreement be changed.

Intellectual Property:
Ownership: All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of the content without prior written consent from the Company.
User-Generated Content: If the Website allows users to post content, you agree not to submit any content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringing upon the rights of others. By posting content on the Website, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, modify, and distribute the content.

We reserve the right to refuse training to anyone.
​
UNACCEPTABLE EQUIPMENT:
KMK9 will not condone the following equipment in our classes, training sessions, workshops & assessments.:-
Choke/Check Chain
Prong/Pinch Collar
Electric Shock Collar
Retractable leads for safety reasons
Chain leads for practical reasons
Rope/Slip leads
We DO NOT allow the use of
rattle bottles or cans
water pistols
or other aversive tools
We do not allow the dogs to be pushed into position or any form of physical punishment including lead jerks, smacks, taps or pinning down of your dog.

If you do this in any of our training sessions, workshops, assessments & 121s you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
However, we are willing to work with you to learn positive methods if you are willing to learn.
​
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
Gift certificates are non-refundable and have no 'cash' value. Gift certificates must be used before their expiry date otherwise they are no longer valid. Gift certificates cannot be used on any sale or special offers.

HOSTING US:
When we are being hosted the host is responsible for the following;

Being insured

Providing a safe place to run the workshop/training sessions

Handles all admin work
-
Arranges marketing and is responsible for filling the workshop

Payment is due 21 days prior to the workshop (we reserve the right to refuse to attend if payment has not been made by the invoice date).

If payment is not received on the due date there will be an admin charge of £15 added for follow up emails.
Once payment has been received it is non-refundable unless I cannot attend the workshop. If payment is not received 14 days before the workshop we have the right to not attend the workshop and any loss of income is the host's responsibility.

During the workshop/training session, the host is responsible for all health & safety and risk assessments, we (KMK9) take no responsibility for any injuries, loss or damage to dogs/people or members of the public while running these hosted workshops/training sessions.

DATA PROTECTION:
In accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need to ask you for written permission to take your photo, by agreeing to these T&Cs you are giving us this consent. We also need your consent to have all your information and again by agreeing to these T&Cs you give us permission to keep your details, you can at any point request your information to be deleted from our system.
Any photos taken will/can be used by KMK9 for advertising or any other means that they need if you do not wish for your photos to be used YOU MUST state this before attending our classes or workshops. You can view our Privacy Policy by clicking HERE.

These Terms and Conditions will supersede all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between the Client (you) and KMK9.
Modifications to the Terms and Conditions:
The Company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions periodically to stay informed about any changes.
